Ylli Zhaveli
Clarinetist β’ Music Educator β’ Choir Conductor
Hi, I’m Ylli β a passionate musician, educator, and conductor with over a decade of experience bringing the power of music into the lives of others.
Currently based in New York, I have worked as a clarinet and music theory teacher at the Halit Kasapolli Music School and proudly lead its Childrenβs Choir as director and conductor. I am deeply committed to cultivating creativity, discipline, and joy through music, especially among young students.
I hold both a Bachelorβs and masterβs degree in Clarinet Performance and Pedagogy from the University of Arts βHasan Prishtinaβ. My journey as a clarinetist has been shaped not only by academic study but by a dedication to lifelong learning.
I have enriched my artistry through numerous prestigious masterclasses and courses across Europe with acclaimed clarinetists and pedagogues, including Pablo BarragΓ‘n HernΓ‘ndez, Sergio Pires, Pavlos Serassis, Lukas Raflauber, Bertram Egger, Marcel Lallemang, Sussane Lang, Andreas Gossling, Ola Sendecki, Oliwia Grabowska.
I have also collaborated with international musicians through projects like the Pirolo Project in Switzerland and the Music Ensemble of Gjakova. My performance journey spans diverse styles, from chamber music to modern classical, always with a focus on emotional storytelling through sound.
Alongside my performing and teaching roles, I have worked as a Project Manager for the Ministry of Culture in Kosovo, organizing large-scale concerts, managing budgets, and leading promotional efforts across media platforms.
In future, i see my self as a international conductor of choir with diversity children. My goal of life is to help and be biggest supporter of Syndrome down people, autism people and disabilities people through music and art.
From stage to classroom, I strive to inspire confidence, creativity, and courage in everyone I work with. Whether Iβm conducting a childrenβs choir, arranging a clarinet piece, or mentoring the next generation of musicians β I believe in music’s unmatched ability to transform lives.
Letβs make music that matters.
